Cabinets

We’ve seen cabinet colors come and go. Here’s what designers say about 2022 trends: Goodbye cherry wood, dark espresso, and even grey. Hello to taupe and beige natural wood finishes. Although these colors are becoming more trendy, white still remains a favorite.

Countertops

Quartzite and marble countertops are still the top picks for 2022, however, traditional designs are still incorporating  granite countertops. Thinking of changing it up, some designers predict that natural stone will see a resurgence in use in 2022 as designers and homeowners look to incorporate high-quality, low maintenance, sustainable materials.

Also, if you’re all in on the trends, skip round edges on your countertops, instead opt for crisp, square edges, then go to more contemporary designs.

Flooring

When it comes to flooring, more buyers are choosing luxury vinyl due to the lower prices and maintenance. As for the coloring, buyers most often prefer black, taupe and natural wood tones.

If you’re on the hunt for other flooring alternatives that are durable and offer a variety of color and finish options, natural stone tiles are a great, durable base-layer for any modern kitchen.
